Malvern (-17) @ Sandy Valley
Sandy Valley, believe it or not are still alive to make the playoffs. That’s because they are playing a 8 win Hornet team. Malvern has stepped up to the plate this year and played every good team very tough. I just don’t feel that Sandy Valley has enough talent to stay with Malvern all night. I congratulate them though for a decent year. Malvern wins this and moves on with a home game in the playoffs.
Timken @ Triway (-30)
Triway is trying to make good position for a playoff spot. Timken should really not be able to stand in their way. This will be another tough year for the Trojans. It seems like this is a constant trend for them. I like Triway big in this one.
Canton South (-5) @ Carrollton
Will my prediction come true? Carrollton losing their last 4 games and missing the post season. The Warriors could win this game and still miss out. The one intangible is every time I favor the Wildcats, they lose and when I dont then win…Go figure
GlenOak (-23)@ Perry
As long as GlenOak don’t have a let down, this should be a cut and dry score. Perry has really struggled all year but that’s why they play the games. GlenOak wins and gets a home game to start week 11.
CVCA @ Manchester (-7)
One of the better games in the area this week. This has playoff implications written all over it. I feel Manchester has played better overall over the coarse of the season. This could go either way but I like Manchester in a close one.
Marlington (-21) @ West Branch
The Dukes have an outside chance of getting a home playoff game with a win and some help. They played Louisville tough and I don’t see West Branch making much of a game after the shellacking they took last week. Marlington wins big and moves on to week 11.
Jackson @ Hoover (-28)
Can Jackson salvage just one win this year? I don’t think so. Hoover will be fighting for their playoff lives this week. Either way if they win or lose they will drop in the standings in region 2. The Vikings should win this because Jackson won’t have an answer for the running game. We should see the Viks in the bottom part of region 2.
Northwest (-18) @ Alliance
The Indians should be fired up to win this one. They wont get a lot of help with a win for playoff position but with a little help from some of their other games they won this year and a weak region 11, they should slip in. Don’t look for the Aviators to just lay down as they have hung tough in some games this year.
Louisville (-17) @ Minerva
Well, this is the last shot Minerva has of making the post season. A win and they will jump up considerably. This game is sure more important for them than the Leopards. No matter what, the Lions really have not beat anybody this season and Louisville has. No let down here. Louisville wins and ends the playoff hopes of the Lions.
Tuslaw (-24) @ Fairless
What a perfect way to a least finish .500 this year. Fairless is only scoring less than 7 points a game and those are late touchdowns to boot. Tuslaw should have nothing to worry about come Friday night. Better luck to both teams next year.
West Muskingum (-38) @ Claymont
The Mustangs have struggled all year with good opponents and it looks like they got another one. Muskingum has beat their last two opponents 35-0, so I say that it will be a little worse than that.
Indian Valley @ Tusky Valley (-2)
Might be a barn burner here. I say that the Trojans have a slight edge in this one and plus their home. Hopefully next year both of these teams can turn it around in the winning way.
Massillon (-11) @ McKinley
Any time there is a rivalry you should through the stats out the window. The Tigers have shown this year that they can hang with the big boys while the Dogs have shown great inconsistency. I really feel if the Tigers don’t get away from what they do well, they should win. Remember they are fighting for a home game in the playoffs and McKinley is fighting for their lives. They had their chances, we all know that. I like the Tigers in a fairly close game.
New Phila @ Dover (-1)
Maybe the game of the state. The quakers have put up some big numbers, but against who?? Their non conference teams record is 8-28 and Dover’s is 26-10. I know that dont mean much come Friday night but their is really nothing really to go off of. Dover has won 12 out of the last 14 and the only two wins that the Quakers have against during this time are a combine of 4 points. This game will be a duzy and its hard to say what the outcome will be. Turnovers will be key and Dover’s Defense will hinge everything in this game. As you can see the spread is small but I will go with the long trend of the last 14 meetings to make this decision.
